But God does something entirely different—He creates out of nothing.This teaches us that God possesses a power that belongs to Him alone. “Heaven and Earth”
The phrase “the heaven and the earth” is a Hebrew expression that means everything that exists. It includes:The sky and the atmosphere, The earth and nature, The stars and the universe, All living creatures. In other words, this single sentence declares that God is the Creator of all reality. Nothing exists outside His creative power.
A Pattern for Our Lives

Yet God brings order, beauty, and life out of that chaos.This pattern mirrors what God does in human lives. Many people experience seasons of confusion, emptiness, or uncertainty.
